It just seemed that Ichigo's tranformation prlonged after each fight and prolonged even more when absolutely needed.

it was good for playing the regular pokemon on it, you were able to get more experiance quicker.

but yea back to Bleach

I dunno about his first Banzai, but the first time we see his Bankai is during his fight against Byakuya, which I think is somewhere around 55-60.
