Ichigo's Bankai, and Battle tactics.

well i think the bankai he has right now is not the actual bankai. there is something unusual here. they didn't even show how did he actually get the bankai. they only showed the fight between him and zangetsu. then without showing all of it, they jumped to the place where rukia was being executed. it kinna make me think that there might be a different developement of his bankai

i agree with the cool outfit comment because come on all he is in bankai is faster everything else he can do and i think they should speed up his bankai progression as it feels like this anime is coming to a close

I think the theory that Ichigo doesn't really have bankai is silly. You may have forgotten, but it once did increase his power by a great deal. The reason it doesn't do much of anything anymore is simple:

Power Creep

In order to make the fights interesting, they have to be difficult. Since the characters are continually getting stronger from the fighting the opponents must also continually grow in strength. It is a very difficult thing to make believable, and if Ichigo was tremendously faster than everyone he fought it would be nearly impossible to make any difficulty seem believable. Therefore all of his opponents started being so fast that he needed his bankai just to keep up.

Remember, he rushed his Bankai, so in my opinion he hasn't completely mastered it.

Well, thats clear. But if he better mastered his bankai and would train it more. he could make counterattacks with it. Like firing a Getsuga Tenshō and counterattacking from underneath or behind the opponent with a new Getsuga Tenshō. His bankai owns pretty much but in my opinion he uses it sometimes/mostly wrong.

Personally, I think it would be nice if Ichigo simply found clever ways to beat his opponents rather than the default dbz route where you get new powers from nowhere just so that you can beat enemies who have been made powerful just for you. Frankly, I really hope this anime does start to come to an end, because unless Ichigo decides to go after the king of the afterlife or whatever, there really isn't anywhere to pull any new enemies from anyway.

Isn't that how this anime started, with him having TREMENDOUS power, from nowhere? I mean come on, at least in dbz they trained a littl...no they trained a lot, like all the time. I guess their power came from somewhere huh?
