Bleach isn't about tactics... Its about people randomly swinging swords to each other and then use monstrous reiatsu blasts.

Ichigo doesn't need any tactics, he needs to improve his bankai and develop new moves. GT got old hundreds of chapters ago.

using his high speed he could spin around rapidly and also considerate his Getsuga Tenshou go cause it to become a vortex around him

this would be good for defense and a good close range offense

I think he should finally try to learn Kido in my opinion, heck even Renji knows how.

yes but renji went to the academy for X amount of years

Ichigo is an over night Shimigami you probably couldnt even do the first spell

They learn swordfighting in the academy for the same reason they learn Kido, and Ichigo knew how to fight with swords at the start of series probably from his father, so he might be able to learn Kido fast if he will just try.

there is no good way to use something that doesn't functionally exist.

Yeah he knows how to, but he isn't very good though, and I consider the two to be somewhat alike.
