I've been wondering for some time now, i don't seem to find the answer..why did the kuchiki adopt Rukia? im following the manga and the anime but in the start i diden't read the manga, is there something telling us why the Kuchiki adopted Rukia?

Because Byakuya was engaged to Rukia's sister, and it was he dying wish that Rukia be taken care of.

Yeah rukia and her sister look alot to eachother, and it was indeed her deathwish you let byakuya adopt rukia, and take care after her.

Keep watching the anime and you'll find out it does say. I can't remeber clearly but im pretty sure its around ep 50 maybe + - 10 from there

i have downed 70 episodes in two weeks i don't think i'm right for some reason

but it is in the first few seasons during the soul society before the bounto...im pretty sure it is at least

Does anybody know if we'ill see rukia's bankai soon ?
I think she will have a beautiful and powerful bankai.

Well,, i quess after the fillers. Cuz at the end of episode 226 she was preparing to fight against him:

At 1:45. And i quess he's at the same level of power as the top 3 espada according to his reiatsu. And if he is, she deffenently need a bankai.
