that's the part that kills him. The fox chakra is so intense it burns his skin and organs making him bleed which makes the chakara red. Then it heals him and then it hurts him again. This constant healing and damaging makes his body cells go into over time. And a cell can only regenerate a certain amount of times and every time it regenerates it shortens your life span. So the fox is slow killing him!
