well in the 1st episode off shippuden wen they see sasuke he comes in to the iner off naruto and crushess the kyuubi so i think yes sharingan can maybe control the kyuubi

Yes, but he could just be surpresing the chakra. You dont how much he can control.

But the Sharingan probably has a connection with Kyuubi.

Well he might be surpressing it cause if hr could control it wouldnt he be able to destroy it too

It can't be killed cause it's been said it has unlimeted chakra though its power is not absolute and sasuke could it had killed(notice past tense) the kyuubi when he beat naruto in the valley of the end but decided to spare naruto life in exchange of dignity toward itachi.

Has itachi ever comprassed or either met the kyuubi face to face as sasuke did when he compressed the kyuubi chakra and block him from coming out? Sasuke eyes are identical to madara's therefore stronger than Itachi thus forshadowing itachi's death!
