I dont think anyone is controlling him. but there could be hollows who are equal or more powerful then him just running around in HM. why else would he send nel and espada #5 *completely forgot his name* out into the desert to look for hollow colonies. Hes probally looking for allies or maybe he has some ace up his sleeve to bend them to his will.

He had them out looking for Vasto Lords because he was trying to turn them into Arrancar, it was strongly implied that he intended for the Espada to be composed entirely of Vasto Lord level Arancar, but was unable to find enough to fill out the ranks.

As for the Aces up his sleeve... He is ridiculously strong, he has an army of arancar, he has the hogyoku with which he can vastly increase the power of any hollow while simultaneously giving it a rational mind, ALSO he has his incredibly overpowered shikai and his yet unrevealed bankai.

How many more aces do you want?

That doesn't make sense.. Aizen is the creator of all Arrancar's..
Unless he created something with unbelievable power that out matches his own? which i can't see happening no one is above Aizen

I think when we find his connection out to HM this questions answer will clear up a bit, But does he own menos just because he is bad ass or was he given command over them or take it? Those answers plus the whole VL answers will show the truth behind the great villain

It'll probaly be something crazy like aizen is the first perfect arrancar. the only one to completely take off his mask. bah im bored.

Ummm, Aizen can't be an arrancar for obvious reasons.
But its 100% certain he is a vizard.
