Which straw-hat(s) shouldn't have joined the crew?

(I hope this topic hasn't been made yet).

The only strawhat I'm against joining the straw-hat crew would be Brook. He just doesn't appeal to me at all, and his jokes arn't even funny. Usoop is weak, but at least he's a marksman and invents things. while all Brook can do is sing. I know we havn't seen Brook in a real fight yet, but like I said before. I figure him to be as weak as Usoop if not weaker.

Everybody is needed and everybody is important.
If, say, Brook is useless (which is not true) they still would 'deliver' him to where Laboon is, like they 'delivered' Vivi in Alabasta arc.

The difference is that Brook has no country to rule, so he joined (-___-')

interesting topic to choose from but I dont really see a fault in any of them really they all seem neccessary in some way. but in terms of combat I would say that chopper is useless when the go to the new world and he screams to much. Usopps useless too unless hes sogeking but hes also hilarious so hes neede as well. for humor that is

How much do you want to bet theres going to be 10 people saying "Usopp, he's stupid and weak and useless"?

Meh, i can't think of anyone that shouldn't have joined. I know plenty who should've but thats for a different thread

I think Vivi would have made a nice addition. She probably could have surpassed Nami if she trained herself to be stronger. Her weapons were pretty interesting.

Thank God Vivi didn't join. You're assuming things again. Nami is clearly much smarter and Vivi was never dangerous to start with.

I know I'm assuming. I never said she was smarter. But Nami would be useless without her knowledge of the weather in combat.

but what does vivi have ... you say nami is useless with out it ... but vivi didn't have any more skill in any other area then nami, and she lacks that intel :/

I liked Vivi as character ... but her being a SH after arabasta arc would be pretty anti climactic and useless
