Default One Piece subbing error?

Well, it's all too late though..Just wanna react on why was it that the japanese word "KAIGUN" was translated as "marines"?LOL

It's not that I am acting arrogant, hope you understand,i'm just reacting

Well,it's just that I know a little japanese and "KAIGUN" was actually means "NAVY" and not "marines"
marines actually means sailors in general I think

No, the marine is the seabound patr of the army. In truth I believe the difference between marine and navy is that one is British English and the other is American English.. but I'm not entirely sure on that XD

Marine (military), a member of the military in an infantry or amphibious force under the authority of a navy, or in several cases, of an independent amphibious forces (e.g., the United States Marine Corps)

Marines just sounds cooler than navy imo :O

There is always more than one way of translating a word, one word in japanese can have several in english, i see no problem with it at all and navy and marines are both the same thing just called something different by two different countries
