Default Manga killers

Argh I hate them, basically its stuff that ruins your manga, period, for example here are a few i've come across:

INK: i spilt ink on my manga once, it never lived to be read again
WATER: crinkled all my manga pages into a crispy popadom
BAGS: bent my pages and all, the only way to sraighten them is with an iron
FIRE: burnt my manga cause i left it next to the fireplace
LIGHT: I leave my managa open to light, and guess what? they turn yellow after a while. i want crisp sheets!

lol tell me your experiences :P

Also leaving your manga, inside a car in a really hot day is really horrible, every part of ink kinda melts creating a huge mess.

Sounds like the biggest killer of em all is YOU for being irresponsible regarding your manga. If you want to keep em in MINT CONDISH you should be taking better care of it, I mean seriously! INK?! How the heck did you spill ink on your manga? Putting your manga by the fireplace??? That's smart! I don't really read that much manga, to be honest I prefer watching anime, but I do own a couple of copies, and one of the copies is 3 years old and the other is 6 years old, both still looks good as new

Well, you have a very good luck, the few manga i've buyed have been ruined by my little cousins.

Another thing that ruins manga is coffee, that makes your manga look brown and all sticky.
