I must admit I was really impressed with the writing. Who knew Hachi had the mark of the sun pirates? Oda said that love would never be in the One Piece universe, but I'm glad he kind of went back on his word a bit and did this. I support Boa-Hancock and Luffy. Can't wait to see more. Long live One Piece

Its not really a romance, its one sided, much like Sanji and every pretty girl he sees.

One piece is (with naruto) my favourite manga, and by far one of the best animes ^^ (naruto shippuuden anime sucks)

But ther's building up in that romance, it's not random stuff like Sanji. It hapenned through development.

Or it could just be a plot device for Luffy to get Boa to do what he wants. There's also the fact that Luffy's not attracted to her whatsoever to think about.

Give him time. Remember that Luffy is innocent. He's my favorite character in One Piece. Gear second is sick. It reminds me a lot of Kaioken Goku.
