I think it might be his zanpakto and he'll have to come and conquer it somehow and it'll open up a whole new era in Bleach where he knows his sword (or maybe he'll fight his zan and kill it then have to use another random sword). Either way I think he's gonna come in at the end, since whenever he uses his zan it said that it destroyed it little by little (when he came to save Ichi and crew in heco muenos(sp?)).

I do believe he's out with Yachiru looking for those edible flowers mentioned earlier. I'll dare to disagree here and say that a mountain poses an enormous problem to those two. Kenpachi has absolutely no sense of direction! I love that about him. I also love his blind faith in Yachiru's sense of direction (which, coincidentally, doesn't exist either).

Here is my basic theory:

They started out looking for the mountain, but Yachiru noticed a bird or a butterfly or a shooting star (that's the one I'm really betting on) and urged Ken-chan to speed after it. She certainly loves it when he runs fast. Thus, they were lost before even reaching the silly mountain. If they ever do eventually reach said mountain (I would bet they'd forget about it or find something more appealing), they head back toward Rukongai and Seireitei and become lost on the way back. Kenpachi will come charging in after Ichigo puts down the Zanpakutou rebelling and will completely lose his temper after realizing he's missed all the action and fun.


More importantly: even if Ken-chan doesn't know the name of his Zanpakutou, the screen writers could come up with some idea of personality (just as blood-thirsty as Ken-chan). Yachiru must know the name of her's, and it's very important that she not be involved in the rebellion because the screen writers wouldn't know what to do with her. Would it be as adorable and cute as her, or completely opposite of her as some other Shinigami? (I refer to Hisagi here).

There! That's my theory!

I wanna see Kenpachi walk up behind Muramasa while he's fighting Ichigo, then absently slash him while looking elsewhere, then look to Ichigo and ask "hey, wassup with all the broken stuff?"
