A friend of mine told me that Skip Beat won't be having a second season and was wondering if this is true? I hope not, since I really liked the show.

The ending felt rushed there seems to be much more to the story. I hope there will be a second season.

We can only hope.. I can't find an official cite to say whether there will be one..
So suprised because I thought it was a big success...
if anything I thought an OVA would come out....or something!!!

I actually read an interview with the voice actress of Kyoko, and she said she was really disappointed because there will not be a second season. I am really bummed, too.

Which, now that I think of it, is terribly cruel of them to do. With an ending to the first season like that, all of us fans would expect a second season.

As per Anamayki's request, here is what I talked about earlier. It's the best rumor I could find. Unfortunately, it says there will be no more Skip Beat. It was posted in February, so it's possible the verdict has changed:

On the other hand, this article hypothesizes the opposite. As it was posted in March, it doesn't have any more solidity than the February posting, but I'd like to hope for the best.

Hope this gets people's discussions moving! ^^
