Default The Role of Anime Soundtracks

I am a fan of anime soundtracks--I think they truly make an anime what it is meant to be. I am a particular fan of Kajiura Yuki: her music is genius, it just blows me away. (You'll know her mainly from Tsubasa Chronicle, .hack//SIGN, .hack//LIMINALITY, and Noir).

Tell me what anime (or composters) you think have the best soundtrack (or worst). Does the music really make the anime? If not, what does (the art, the voice acting, or anything else)?
