The FullMetal Panic trilogy is really good because it is a nice mix between romance, comedy, and action. The plot is also interesting and the characters are extremely likeable.

(if your really that bored, watch this seasons "crappest" anime. it so crap you have to watch it.) Kampfer.
sasameki koto, kimino todoke, White album season 2, (im waiting for these to come out, but when it does, watch these as well! [darkumagon pls make a new category for these? ^^) this means watch white album season 1 if you hvnt already done so =]
and if always in doubt, go google "fall 2009 anime".
if you have that much time, go google "spring 2009 anime".
