This one begins with a pink-haired loli as the lead correct?

Did you see that in the next episode teaser? Because at the end they were both fighting, and then the star fell, so either of them could have died. I skipped through the credits though.

Gotta say, we're at episode 10 of the series so far...and I'm really wishing it was more like season 1 =( Then again, the intrigue into finding out what's going on and what's happened in the time between the seasons with Hei is killing me...so maybe I'm more into this season than I think <.<

It doesn't have the same format as your typical hack-and-slash anime. The plot actually....moves.

They keep the important battles stretched over a few encounters in episodes. That seems appropriate.

you obviously didn't watch the first season. the fact that they aren't afraid to kill of characters is one thing I like about the show because you never know who they will kill off next. like april, I didn't even see it coming it happened so fast.

also, to godo. I think that is one of the biggest hooks of this season, finding out wth happened?! I think its going to start getting more intense, but thats just me. I happen to like this season a lot, even though we don't see as much Hei action as I would like.

I thought the writing and surprises in the plot were superb in the first season, I'm just not seeing it as much in this season...but they have a LOT of explaining to do...so hopefully that will come out in the next few episodes and we'll start to see some serious intrigue.

And yeah, I miss Hei electrocuting people, sue me. =P
