and Gintama is awesome, if you don't mind rofls every episode, some serious plot related arcs :O it's nothing like the big 3 :O it's better..

Eh..I prefer animes with a strong story now.The "Hero gets stronger and stronger..and stronger" is really getting boring.

Strong story+ intelligence in it + a bit of violence here and there + a bit of darkness = WIN!!

How about an anime that takes the mick out of the 'ultimate move' story line, literally, a zangetsu copy comes along and tries to teach Gin an ultimate move, then his mother and father appear
If you read between the lines there is a strong story, but overall it's just damn good comedy, and action..
