maybe that's where i saw it but i was sure i saw it at the end of the episode

but who else would travel with cc besides lelouch

but the episode where Lelouch was killed he was talking to cc in some church or something of the sort

i thought that was before he was 'killed' but it could've happened after his 'death'

There was never any indication that Lelouch gained immortality. Anyway, to quote from the wikia:

That kinda implies that he really is dead.
