..you can no longer speak your native tongue.

From time to time I have found myself mispronouncing words in english by thinking they're Japanese. It just happened recently. I'm going through a list of movies. One comes up titled "Namesake." I pronounced it na-ma-sa-key. Then I wondered if it were a city or town in Japan. It took about a minute for me to realize it was in english.

Yes, It helps to say the word as if you were speaking spanish, since spanish and japanese are a bit closer than japanese and english.

You know when you watch too much anime when... you come home from school/work etc. get online, get on here or veoh, and search for random anime videos to watch.
