Cuz he is ofc in the end, cuz every single story has to end happily to save ur harmful little children minds
But if they just wanted to make it a little bit realistic then Sasuske would pwn the little ramen fox ! Naruto is only surviving cuz of the ninetailed, and the ninetailed couldn't even defeat Orichimaru in the start.
lets face it. Sasuske is prolly 100 times stronger than orichimaru, and thats where naruto gets ganked, sakura raped, ino gets a gentle kiss, and the rest of konoha will fall...

Sasuke is really well rounded
he has skill, power, and a kekei genkai

Naruto has a lot of power and a demon with up to 4 levels
but being the Main character i dont think he can handle 2 defeats
so Naruto would win,,,,,,even though i think Sasuke is much more stronger

Naruto is not surviving only because of the kyubi....
any normal child would not be able to endure the pain and die
but Naruto has something special....they say it some time in the show
Naruto has some hidden power that helps him fight the Kyubi inside
