In defense of NaruSaku

This is my defense towards NaruSaku. In my opinion it is bashed extremely too much. It’s understandable that everyone has their own preferences, but it’s been taken too far with all the bashing. A simple I don’t like NaruSaku is fine but when people go on with ridiculous reason or no reasons with a proof basis, that’s when it gets bad.

First off, there is tons of canon proof towards the pairing. When Naruto comes back at the beginning of Shippuuden Sakura asks him if he thinks she is more womanly. I don’t know about everyone else, but I would never ask my brother (or male friend for that matter) that kind of thing. She had also blushed while saying it, as well as on several other occasions. In one of the recent Shippuuden episodes Yamato mentions her true feelings toward Naruto, if it isn’t enough that he brings that up at all (because it’s quite obvious that they’re friends already) the word he says started with an L. Whether it was ‘like’ or ‘love’ the words have the same basic proof towards a pairing implication.

The two really share a bond no one else could understand. They both are determined to bring back Sasuke while they both are living in some fantasy world that everything will return to normal if they bring back Sasuke. Hinata can not understand this; she was not there for this and does not know Naruto much at all. This is shown in the recent manga chapters. Naruto is about to fight and Hinata is worried he will get killed, that shows she doesn’t know how strong he truly is and has little faith in him. She could have at least tried to go attack and help. Sakura on the other hand promptly told her that Naruto was strong and could take care of himself. She knows what he is capable of and doesn’t doubt him.

One excuse that always comes up is that Sakura loves Sasuke. Since Shippuuden is what will happen it is the accurate source. So would someone like to tell me where any implications that Sakura still loves Sasuke are? The fact that she wants to bring Sasuke back cannot be taken as anything more than friendship without any other implications. For one Naruto reacts the same way because he’s his best friend, Sakura has the same motive. Also she said it was their turns to watch her back so she’s not going to let herself be left behind.
--How do we know Sakura hasn’t grown out of her feelings? It’s been 2 years and she was a 13-year old girl. At that age it’s very easy to change your feelings and most the time the person they like they never end up with. We all saw she could be shallow, so since she has matured she would have grown out of a shallow crush. She was also to busy training and focusing on becoming a strong kunoichi with Tsunade, she didn’t have time to worry about Sasuke or she wouldn’t be as strong as she is now.

Just because she hits Naruto does not mean she’s trying to be mean to him. It’s basically there for humor just as the SasuNaru kiss was. If Naruto really wasn’t okay with it he’d let her know. And besides after seeing what she can really do it’s not like she’s trying to kill him or she’d use her super strength.

Sakura is the kind of person who’d need constant attention. And Naruto would be perfect. They’re both fairly loud and would seem to want a passionate affectionate relationship. Naruto would be cuddling her constantly and it’s been shown that they’re both quite the perverts so they would both have a very active relationship XD

I’m not trying to change anyone’s pairing preferences nor bash. I just think that this fandom needs a little standing up for. These are my facts behind why I like the pairing.

I also think that Naruto Sakura pair is "closest" in Naruto (even in Shippuuden).

Besides, take a look, when Sasuke died fighting Haku, Sakura cried, she also worried about both Naruto and Sakura, she cried when Sasuke was to fight in chuunin fights. But after that, when Sasuke was fighting Naruto, she didnt know whom to side with. Once Naruto swore that he will bring Sasuke back, she saw that hes doing all this for her, and that hes no longer an annoying kid. She also began to try and take the burden out of Naruto (thats when her feeling for him began). In shippuuden, she cried that she all she can do for Naruto are only small things (she also regret that she refused going on date with him).

meh, I was bored and typed up a 10 minute rant. You should see the ones on the NF forums, mine is nothing compared to those. It's really addressing all the bashing over the internet, not just on AC. I just got tired of saying the same things over and over in threads. Now i just have to post a link XD

most likely fret and get too scared. Sakura can withstand it because she cares for him too much. In my opinion Hinata just has admiration....so yea basically XD that or maybe she'd go run and get help

Well Hinata is in crush for Naruto, as she admires him for his will. She was weak, inconfident, shy, lost, while Naruto, even alone and abandoned by all, he grew strong. She wants to be like him (strong, confident), not actually in love.

hm im a naruto hinata fan i think it would be great if they end up together but i wouldent rly cair if naruto ended up with sakura :P i duno why so many people hate sakura shes a normal character if ya ask me :P
