Oh comon ippo is the king of comeback victories. I love onizuka eikichi so much too, but ffs ippo has HEART and DETERMINATION, and he actually motivates people in real life with their dreams and ambitions to NEVER give up.

Voted Eikichi!!!
I'll be comin back to this poll, GTO was a part of my top-list along with other classics like DBZ, paved the ground for many other deliquent anime. To see such a non-cliché (Back then, it wasn't overused) character go unappreciated.... The only reason I didn't pick Ippo is him being about one thing only: don't give up. Onizuka goes much further than determination and such.
