Quincies after death?

I've seen a thread about what would happen to Ichigo if he dies, but I'm wondering what would happen to a Quincy if he or she dies? Would a Quincy be permitted to enter Soul Society or could be a Quincy become a Shinigami? I just wonder what would happen to Ishida if he dies, I wonder if he could become a Shinigami and become an officer who is the head of a division that uses bows instead of zanpaktous, i think that would be bad ass, I don't know that's just me.

Well you have to ask yourself what happened to all the Quincy that have died before. Since they all have that Quincy pride I don't think they'd become shinigami. The reason though that you probably don't see many Quincy walking around Soul Society would probably be because when most of them got wiped out it was by the Shinigami so instead of leaving the world as a soul they just turned into particles that ended up in Soul Society just like when Shinigami kill Hollows. This all just theory though of course.

^Well, thanks for the reply! That definitely answers my question, even though it's all just a theory Yeah, I was totally wondering why there weren't any Quincies introduced during the Soul Society Arc, I just thought that if a person is killed by a Shinigami's zanpaktou, that person would automatically enter Soul Society. I guess Ishida won't be an officer heading a division that uses bows instead of zanpaktous

Seriously dude! With their zanpaktous I think that shinigamis can only fight close range except for Renji's bankai, so why not having a long range weapon such as a bow?

chances are that they alrdy are some quincy that became shinigami cause they have no memory of tha life that they lived in tha real world and an enormous retsiu(SP)

I don't think they do.but even if they did they wouldn't be using there bow because they would destroy a big part of Soul Society because it's all made off spirit

I think there probably are some Quincies that are Shinigami but they have no memory of their past life just as the one person said. It's a big probability..

there are some that have ranged, remember that one fat guy in soul society with all the little shurikens floating around him, and im sure there are more
