Not sure about that, what about Goku against Luffy? That was 1 example, I think there are lots of characters what are popular like luffy

actually luffy won against goku on a previous contest, it was a bad idea to include the previous winner on this battles, it makes the entire thing kinda pointless

I didn't know that. For me there are characters whose I would vote insted for Luffy (Zoro,Hijikata Toshiro, Stumpede Vash,...). Luffy is awesome character, but for me there are at least 4 characters I like more

, that's way I think Luffy is not unbeatable in popular contest
