I like Ed. A lot Ô_o Fine that you don't like him, but being common doesn't equal unlikable (also, care to elaborate on these 50 other characters, who're exactly like him?). I think he's funny an I like that he's got a brain and I llike that he's temperamental.

well if the mods don't bother about fixing i will start making new accounts too
im on AC about 14 hours a day
instead of watching anime I can make new accounts to vote for lelouch
but i don't want to resort to that
its a popularity contest and the winner here will probably lose to luffy anyway

honestly i really hope the latter isnt the case. Nothing aginst luffy personally, but one of the Main Characters from the Big 3 winning just isnt fair considerin the amount of exposure they get compared to animes less known animes

To be honest, it wasn't until somewhere around episode 19 of the second season that he started to plan for his own death. I would hardly call that from the start. Netherless he is an awesome character.

This is a really hard choice. I really like both characters for many different reasons. But I choose Lelouch since Edward is leading.

I personally found that Brotherhood had a more intricate plot. CG ha more intrigue, but comparatively a lot less plot. Also, CG was a pretty pessimistic show. Brotherhood was optimistic, I felt.

Its Common sense that i wont make a fool oyt of myself writing down 50 names just because o random guy asked me to.
IN addition Temperamental/Funny is something EVERY main character has....

That's funny, I was making just that point (about it being character vs. character, not show vs. show) a few pages back. ..Maybe in the other thread, though, can't remember.

I am asking you to name 50 characters (or at least some of them) to back up your argument. If your argument is that Ed sucks because he's common, since I haven't noticed many characters like him, then your argument is invalid unless you ca back it up.

And no, I do not automatically choose the main character, though I have noted that I often do (It's called self-reflection ). It may be that the amount of exposure endears me to them or maybe it's simply because many characteristics commonly found in main characters in anime are things I like in characters. I do enjoy the never-say-die attitude and that is very common in protagonists.

And I'm sorry if I sound brainy. It's just the way I communicate. Just be happy I have yet to pull the "you should read this philosophy, it's very interesting and very relevant to this discussion" card. Luckily I've mostly stopped doing that XD
