Iv seen alot of animes but my one favorite background character is Kallen Cosiki from Code Geass.
in this anime she plays as one of zero's knights and a lover of lelouch(Zero). As a secondary character she acts almost like a main character would in an anime, always in the think of every situation. As a secondary character she is captured and isnt seen for a little while in the R2 series only to come back to take the stage.

Katsura kotarou from gintama whatever this guy do is funny plus he have this serious face.
Crocodile from One piece damn this guy have a badass mafia leader charisma oh i forgot Taka Tin from gintama too......
