According to the site, it's going to take place some time in April. A new arc that will happen in Soul Society featuring an anime-original character taking over the spot Ichimaru Gin has left vacant. The name of the character is Amagai Shuusuke.

Even more food for thought, I was reading the manga again the other day and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on when and what squad was Ichigos dad the captain of? ((Isshin Kurosaki))
I think he was the former captain before Rose.

i dont read the manga, so ya, i guess that wouldnt work, but that still seems like the best fit in my head. so i dont know what other squad it could be. what character said that quote?

Btw HM arc, is Hueco Mundo, the arc the anime is currently in!

well, then we know it isnt squad 8, 1, 4, 13, and it cant be 2, because that was yorouichi, cant be 11, cuz he was killed by zaraki, cant be 5, cuz it was shinji, cant be 12, that was urahara and Kirio Hikifune b4 him, Love Aigawa was captain of squad 7, Rose was 3rd squad, and according to that manga, the former 10th squad captain died, that leaves squad 6, and squad 9. We can also assume that some of the former captains may not have been the originals, but its most likely 6 or 9, byakuya's scarf was passed down from the previous captain, and i cant imagine isshin wearing that. so squad 9 makes the most sense.

So by deducing the obvious kensei Muguruma has to be either squad 9 or 6, I gave the old man Kuchiki's squad
So basically we have squad 10 or 3, their both left with unknown parts. Who died? and who did Rose replace?

Hmmm!!!! Isshin just recently got his powers back at the begining of the arrancar arc as stated by Urahara, so that fits in somewhere.
