Mostly cause his attitude...i think.....being an "avenger" doesnt means you have to be mean....

Really now even though the guy he respected almost the least he admitted to being a worthy opponent in a famous valley of the end fight thus dispproving that he didn't respect the other characters.

He also respected Orochimaru's power and brilliance though he still hated Orochimaru. He respected Haku as a true shinobi and aspired to become better than him. Do I have to go on just because he mostly only respects the powerful characters doesn't mean he respects no one.

I agree. Sasuke was less off a bleep before he went to Orochimaru though.
