Yeah up to the Northern War, it is pretty much the same. But your going to need to read the Northern War part, if you plan on picking up the manga.

It feels like reversed plot progression: instead of proceeding down the road the manga is adding decorations to it.

Meaning that once we start heading down that road there'll be a lot more to look out for on the way.

Well I guess people have always lived there, and no one has ever made it to the coast because of dangerous terrain or something.

but the real question is: is Priscilla going to age again? She was a children 2 chapters ago, now looks like a teen... is it possible to have her as an old hag in the next one? (which should be out in 10 days?) :P

You grow as you build up your body and develop your physique, you grow old as your cell division rate begins to lag after cell destruction.

She had shrunk because of lack of sustenance, so naturally if she ate something she'd return to normal.
