meh i personally prefer genre to alphabetical, since most people dont know the actual name of the manga their looking for when viewing such threads, while they do know what genre types they enjoy

just my opinion though, not trying to overwork you :P

Whoa, this is a lot. Well, I'll start from the top of the list and rank any of them I've read. You should totally add Berserk btw

Beelzebub: 7 - funny and awesome manga with hints of a plot but nothing concrete yet.

Bleach: 8 - been following this for ages. It has comedy, action and awesome art.

Blue Dragon Ral Grado: 7 - awesome story, awesome characters, mostly awesome execution but it does come of as "wut?" sometimes.

Claymore: 8 - character design, story and execution are all awesome, art is also pretty neat, though it goes up and down.

Fairy Tail: 9 - one of the most awesome shounen adventures I've read, it hasn't even formulated much of an overall plot yet and it still rocks.

FullMetal Alchemist: 9 - a wonderful, detailed, living universe with awesome characters, comedy, action and drama. This is a masterpiece.

Hellsing: 8 - combining twisted humor and brutal violence, this vampire story leaves you wanting more. Do watch the Hellsing Ultimate OVA's as well.

Immortal Regis: 7 - Immortal regis is one of those rare series that features a protagonist who is undead, but not a vampire. It's got a good story and art, but it's a shame that it is in truth only a prequel to another series, as many fans actually like it better than the sequel.

Naruto: 8 - Well, you probably already know of Naruto, a shounen manga about ninjas. It's great reading, and if you ever thought the anime lacked details, this is where you'll find them.

One Piece: 9 - One Piece is awesome. From its art style to its story, from the fights and comedy to the sheer scope of the OP world, this is a masterpiece.

Soul Eater: 8 - Although this manga starts off with a good story concept, the plot progression slows down after a while, with the addition of many new foes. Most of it is very good, and its only real drawback is that while it grows more complex, the goal grows more and more obscure.

Übel Blatt: 9 - I dunno, I just love Übel Blatt. It has great art, a great story, and a great world. It's also a bit mature, though.

Veritas: 8 - A very good fighting manga(or rather, manwha), the major winning points of it are undoubtedly in its comedy and art(great facial expressions among other things), and the fights aren't half-assed either.

Zombie Powder: 8 - this damn thing ended too soon! This is Kubo Tite's first manga, after which he began Bleach. However, it is not finished, as it was cancelled after only 4 volumes. The little there is, is awesome.
