Washitzu Naosata, the ruler of the powerful state, Unabara, is looking for his successor. Each of their chosen martial artists then are to fight against each other until only one is left standing. Whoever is the winner, whoever has the strongest martial artist in the nation by his side will become his successor...
Out in the midst of the mountain is the doujo of the "Daigame Ryuu" (Giant Tortoise Style). There lives Kurogane Gama, the son of the legendary swordsman, Kurogane Jinsuke, who is believed to be able to kill 1000 martial artists in Unabara. There, one of the sons of Washitzu Naosata, Washitzu Naoshi, comes in search of the legendary swordsman, only to find that he had gone missing several years ago. After seeing the battle style of Gama, he instead chooses to ask Gama to come with him. Wanting to become stronger, Gama agrees to his offer, and that marks the beginning of Gama's battle to become the strongest of all...

Iori vs Shin is the best fight in the series so far, imo.
Everything about has been win so far. Thinking Iori might lose on purpose or something, but then again probably not. xD

I forgot that the Turtle bastard stopped the fight at the end of chapter 76, lol. I meant that he might lose the fight against Shin on purpose. *goes to read 77* D:

Amazing, but sad chapter. :'(
I know it's not probable, but maybe Iori is working with Jinsuke for the time being, of course only looking for a chance to betray him. But Jinsuke knows this and when they fight, Iroi gets completely overwhelmed. Just as he is about to die, Gama runs into the castle and sees Jinsuke deal the final blow to Iori, thus the battle between father and son ensues..

That sounds like an awesome ending, I do wish they came up with a way to make the awesomeness last as long as possible though. >.>
