Description: There is a saying that if you find a japanese maple leaf with eight tips you will find everlasting love. A popular high school actress is now making a film about that legend at the main character's high school, who in turn has a crush on her. One day after school he runs into her and helps her escape from some pursuing staff members. It turns out that since she started acting right after middle school she hasn't had any experience with love and that is hurting the production of the movie. So to get some experience with love she invites him out on a date.

I read the one-shot yesterday and I really liked it. The serialization also looks promising, and I hope Japanese appreciate it.

This is really good, but I think I liked the one shot portrayal better then the chapter one and almost wish chapter one would of taken directly off of the one shot. Though the current play out of chapter one did allow the other secondary characters and friends to be better established for a ground work of plot developments for further story development.

But I did like how the one shot played out and think it played out better in comparison for some reason. I think it captured the emotions of her trying to figure out her role and her falling for him very nicely. Especially with the maple leaf thing. I think I may be disappointed if the "new" chapter arcs if they drag certain things out just for more pages of story. I think the story could of continued just fine from where the one shot left off.

the one shot was good too but i thought it was a bit rushed. they can go more into details like this

Ehh it's ok still, but I'm still annoyed it's not leading off the one shot. The one shot was so much better and not nearly as cliche.
