yea but the thing is the concepts are what people of today like to hear aka those concepts are were the money is at, even ludacris told Oprah that its nothing personal calling woman hoes and bi**hes, its just what ppl like to hear to make money its america. ok they swear wow just look for songs that have the (clean title) - which is censored no swears, and if you want swears theres a dirty version, not all songs are like that; thats what im trying to say. and everyone uses demeaning words everyday its not just in rap come on im pretty sure you said h0 or a something hateful or whatever without listening to rap. theres a freedom of speech and if a rap song contains of opinions of a rapper you dont like and believe there not true listen to somebody else. everybody have their own morals not everyone is the same. you think somebody with a bad life, trying to survive, tryin to make money and eat and there only way is to the music biz would rap about morals, come on be real they're not going to rap about something they most likely didnt have from the start. and like i said the reason they rap the way they do cuz ppl like it, society dont want to just listen to happy songs that are all sugar coated, ppl might like to hear profanity, demeaning words not everyone is happy with their life, im sure not
every genre is diff but if rap is just gonna be censored like rock whats the excitement whats the difference it'll just be songs with singing and rapping so dont blame the rappers but blame the ppl that like to here some of the things they rap, blame ME for being someone who like to hear swear words in their songs.

not all rap is bad although what they put out today is mostly crap but if you listen to the stuff they put out in the late 80's-the early 90's it was more about the message and social in justice. some examples of what i think was good is: a tribe called quest, run dmc,nas ,just to name a few.
