| Is It?   |  Rock - Discussion Thread Rock Discussion Thread  A group of musicians specializing in rock music is called a rock band or rock group. Many rock groups consist of an electric guitarist, lead singer, bass guitarist, and a drummer, forming a quartet. Some groups omit one or more of these roles or utilize a lead singer who plays an instrument while singing, sometimes forming a trio or duo; others include additional musicians such as one or two rhythm guitarists or a keyboardist. Discuss everything about rock music here; upcoming bands/albums, good songs, etc.

Well, Dream Theater is one of my favorite bands. They are true Musicians with capital M. I tried to count and harmonically analyze "Dance of Eternity" (all instruments) and it's a nightmare. I have no idea how the wrote it and how they play it live. Seriously, it's a nightmare.
