Agree with pretty much everything you said as well~

I don't think one has to be able to name all the older groups to be a "real" K-Pop fan though. I don't think it's necessary to name all the members, to name their company etc. All that really matters is the music isn't it? o:

If I don't like a band's music, I don't listen to them. And I don't bother to learn their names, companies etc.
And for what that girl was saying: No matter how hot they are or how tragic their backstory is.

And my experience with k-pop fans.. well "insane hyperdefensive mob on crack" is pretty fitting.
Though I also have to say they're FREAKING SCARY. xD
Woohoo.. there were a few times I was really scared during the BEAST concert here. But it was also soooo funny. xD I remember how one of those B2UTYs complained to a German newspaper for writing a crappy article about BEAST and K-Pop, writing something like "K-Pop fans aren't jealous of each other, they're happy for each other, they're peaceful and friendly, they're like family blahblah" (and on the net that's really how german k-pop fans act) but during the concert when girls were ripping each others hair out, biting and hitting each other over a t-shirt Kikwang threw I was like "Ah~ what a happy family " xDD

yes yes yes. these are all what true fans are. aren't they just so wonderfully devoted? to the point that they will download and rant against anti fans everywhere spending their time on that then soending $1.29 on itunes to buy a freaking song or ordering at least one cd by their oppas on yesasia or kpoptown.

i mean i download, but i try to buy as many as possible out of respect for artists. if you are a true fan, you would try to support them because defending your oppas online doesn't exactly get them money. buying their merchandise does.

no the naming wasn't to point out they aren't fans. it's because they were telling me that i don't understand kpop and that i am a kpop anti. yeah sure. i've probably known kpop longer than these peoples have been on the freaking internet.

I also agree that Kpop fans are one of the worst kind.
Same goes to jrock fans (at least here in Finland when you're in a concert.)
They f**king stomps on your feet with platforms and studded heels in order to get in the front row so they can grope and touch the members T^T
They don't respect them at all.
BUT there are also exceptions too.

I totally agree, sometimes when I go to a concert here in Finland, I feel like I'm going to get killed -.-'
And seriously I don't understand the big deal about who gets to stand closer to the band, hell I go there to enjoy the music not to get their sweat flying all over me (and to get stomped to death by other fans -.-')
