Since people have made threads for other genres I thought I'd make one for Reggae and Dancehall (aka Bashment aka Ragga) and see if there were any fans out there.

Yeah that Gentleman tune is pretty nice I remeber when it used to be like the only reggae type song playing on MTV but at the same time people who I knew that were into the genre weren't really feeling him.

Not really a big Baby Cham fan, these are the only songs i ever really like from him:

GHETTO STORY BABY CHAM / EIGHTY FIVE RIDDIM / MADHOUSE - YouTube (this one still gets ratings from me, simply cause it sent me and the crowd wild back in '05/'06 when it would come on at raves, don't rate the version wid Alicia Keys though )


Anyway, generally speaking I'm more of a Bugle and Assassin (aka Agent Sasco) fan, so here are some of my prefered tracks from them:

Well I like Gentleman, he has great songs, so I don't understand people not feeling him let alone that song ah well...

I do, since recently, like Baby Cham, since I heard some of his new tracks I started listening to his old ones as well and im digging him. Yeah Ghetto story is a classic Alicia Keys remix is also good tho imo

Hmm the only dancehall artist I listened to on a regular basis was Mavado, but recently i have been looking for more artists, I'll check the vids out... I listened to Jah Vinci a lil bit, I liked what I heard from him..
I was starting to listen to Vybz Kartel until he became a traitor, so I don't listen to him anymore....

Which reggae artists do you listen to?

I saw some people acutally still posting youtube vids, but they used some weird code or something , i dont know xD
