And oh yeah, of course >_<, I didn't mean to imply Americans were the only ones doing it. D: I mentioned Murray and he's Scottish. It's just my opinion that these world class athletes with all these means at their disposals take away a little from the games. Tennis final = perfect example. But it's something you come to terms with, sadly~ And on a happier notes, NZ finally on the medal table. The doubles in rowing was like... insane. Two ends of the spectrum. The first two coming from 5th to gold; the second doubles team won by a landslide. Hardcore, fellas.

It should be noted that it is because the 1992 Dreamteam crushed their competition and showed the world what Basketball looked like played at it's highest level that Basketball became so popular around the world. Besides if collage players start getting paid the money they deserve then they'd likely have the same means at their disposal as NBA players.

i just watched Brazil vs China basketball match. never thought the Chinese team gets this weak after 4 years... probably a young team, and Yao's no longer playing. and OFC the height disadvantage of Asian peeps against western countries... still, being able to take part in the olympics is a priviledge already... me thinks!
