Hardsubbing/converting .sub files? - Page 2 - AnimeCrazy.net Forums

YEah opening them in a text file doesn't work.
I think the idx file is maybe the timed portion and the .sub sometimes contains up to 3 different languages in it. So I really don't know what to do. i tried using subrip i think and it didnt work or i didn't use it correctly. I will try aegis sub when i get home

Use avisynth.

I dont have time to describe it but I'm off to work.

Basically open the video in Virtualdubmod using Open Video File via AviSynth > choose the avs file.

cxu should be able to explain it to you.

yeah you could use that BUT you will have to use textsub again so you can just open textsub fromvdub by opening downloading the textsub filter

some .sub to .srt miniconverter someone made i found lol maybe the simple things might work best i dont know =P

Errr, VirtualDubMod comes with it preinstalled - I thought thats what everyone used? Standard vdub has old, buggy features. Only vdubmod is updated.
