Hardsubbing/converting .sub files?

And have the same filename as the Avi correct, but that doesn't help him if he is going to upload them to DramaCrazy though megavideo, veoh, imeem etc. None of these support separate subtitle files, which is why we always have to hardsub our episodes before uploading them as Avi files.

I wonder if they can be hardsubbed using vsfilter/textsub filter for vdub
