Hardsubbing/converting .sub files? - AnimeCrazy.net Forums

Hello everyone,
I am trying to pretty much hardsub a avi together with a .sub file and i have NO CLUE how to convert the .sub and .idx into something like .srt. PLEASE help. I have dozens of good asian films that i want to put up but can't since i don't know how to convert the .sub format.

do you have aegisub..?

um i think i will let u know a programme name which helps all format avi, mp4 , mkv etc for hardsub

No i do not.

and i already googled it and tried to use all the softwares i get sick of them after the put in characters stage.

why didn't you just ask me lol
well I think sub files can be opened in the textsub filter in vdub
you just have to open the filter
download a file called textsub.vdf

jus open it on notepad and save it how u want it on srt..just type subtile.srt.. and save it hehe hope it helps

I don't think that would work try to convert them using sub station alpha
