i was looking for a way to watch online live japanese tv,especialy the popular animes broadcasted on tv tokyo and found something interesting.its called Keyholetv ,its a small program with a live streaming window and an option to switch between chanels,not the best quality but kind of working,i am curious if anyone had experience with this program or something similiar so please share your comments.check out the guide for setup here KeyHoleTV: Watch Live Japanese TV Online!

I've used TVUPlayer... But I don't remember if they had any Japanese shows/ channels.

I think WinAmp has streaming anime channels, etc. but they're not really "live" streaming.

If I was at home (therefore not under a bandwidth cap) I would check out that player because Japanese TV is something to behold.

fuji tv (japan)
tv tokyo (japan)
nihon tv (japan)
animax (japan)
cnbc (us)
and like 5 or 6 other chanels and radio stations are in this player realy live no recorded streams

they got even japanese pro baseball ^^

once or twice a day the server got some maintance but it works realy good

Use TVU player ACFS uses it and as an ACFS member i give u the thumbs up!

anyway, the more popular p2ptv software are sopcast, tvu and tvants. i use them to watch sports though, havent really seen any anime channels on them.

Tvu I favor for the quality but keyhole has more channels but it's horrible to watch stuff there

hmmm i don't know what you watch on tvu, but for me sopcast is better, has more sports channels and greater quality. but tvu is a good alternative.

well there are like 8 channels I watch One Piece on Fujitv 9:30 am Japan time
I record it actually for subbing like vi3t said

Well I just wish that they stream Tv tokyo on TVU
TVU has great quality compared to the other streaming softwares
