Default Help!!!

Okay, i use mozilla and my pc says it has a 36.0 Mbps speed with the broadband, so how come if i try to load up any anime online, no matter whether its on veoh, megavideo or imeem it loads it up for about 2 minutes then stops? Can anyone help me with this or do i just need a new broadband supplier?

Please help, i'm suffering from anime deprivation and i think it might be making me more loopy than usual...

Hi Dragon, Does your computer have enough memory? My computer was doing the same thing when I tried to download from veoh. I had to erase some of the files I had and now I can only download 1 episode at a time.

It could be related to limited C:\ drive space... Happens to me all the time.

You must remember that 36 Mb/s != 36 MB/s ... 36 Mb/s ~ 4.6 MB/s.

Also, if you are using a network, someone else may be hogging the bandwidth, also if you use cable internet and so do your neighbors; you're going to get slow down from that as well.

Let the player buffer for a few minutes, too.

its a little simple but sometimes it will help to not do anything that takes a lot of memory for a while(i.e. videos, fullscreen games, downloads, etc.) give the computer a break

Like I said, if you have neighbors and they have cable, you will get a slightly decreased speed at times since cable internet gets shared in grids.

Also, if you have siblings that like to download a lot of things, that will also decrease your overall speed... If someone hasn't configured their torrents correctly you'll have a huge speed drop.

It could also be your modem or router; you could try getting a new one of either and see if that does anything. The main splitter for splitting your TV and internet could have gone bad, especially if you had a power outage.

It could be that you have to free up some space on your pc...

Clear user cache and cookies...

Reset modzilla fox to "default" settings...

Use a different browser...

Depending on the the time of the day that you actually use the net, your broadband connect is at it's lowest, so experiment at different times of the day and tell me what you experience, ok?

Thanks - its a bit faster now, still no luck with loading the videos, but hopefully it'll improve when the broadband is sorted out. Dad seems to believe it will. Half of the problems prob that we r all trying to use the internet at the same time - didn't know earlier because i try not to leave my room unless i have to - much more peaceful, and they don't realise i'm not doing my homework...
