Are you on Custom firmware still OR did you do a Official Firmware update by accident? If you did the latter then your screwed without a pandoras.

i think it mite be on official since the firmware is just called 3.95

yep most likely you did an official. I bet he left it on there encase whoever bought did not want a custom. You gotta buy a pandoras + mem card. Ebay is best bet for that imo. Making one yourself is a pita and cost just about as much as buying a set.

did some reading, and so pandoras is when you open your battery and cut a specific pin? and the mms is when you format it and put hte installer on there correct?

aye but if you F up and touch 1 wire while removing your batter pin you will fry your whole battery and that $35+ down the drain if you want a sony replacement.

I had an old sony battery i tried it out on and, well lets just say it was a nice quick way to warm up my hand lol. I just use mine for movies mostly so i use official

you should just buy a pandora battery and magic mem-stick....you can find sets on pandora-battery.net or com...cant remember which....

when you upgraded to 3.95 it went back o a oficial sony firmware so you have to install a custom firmwware again do you have psp slim of fat?
