standby usually causes issues with hardware so I hibernate my laptop instead

I (allmost) never turn my laptop off:P it shuts down on its own....shitty updates x(
i may give my computer some rest if i think it deserves it^^

I hardly ever turn mine off due to thermal stress on the system (Old PC). I usually just leave it on stand by in hopes that it will last a little bit longer. Unfortunately, when this PC finally gives, probably half the parts will be done for.

I'll shut my laptop down most of the time, but sometimes I'll just put it in sleep mode if there's something really important I don't want to have to pull up and find / set up again.
