laptop: i turn mine off when im not using it, unless i have a anime loaded on it until done watching it. so on average, bout a day
computer: first let me give u a little background on it, it has a 3.6 ghrtz quad processor. i only use it for gaming, and occasionally watching anime (delete caches often), turn it off directly off afterwords, do not browse web w/ it except sites i kno r safe. use chrome beacuase not only is it faster it is safer.

I turn it off when I go to bed/sleep, and then I turn it back on when I wake up.
By the way, once I turn it on after I wake up, it stays on continuously until I go to bed/sleep.

i never turn mine off...the only time it gets turned off is from a power outage or i get an ad that multiplies ridiculously and i have to reset it....

I usually turn it off whenever i am going to bed but mostly i just put it in sleep mode

I thought I was such a nerd for only turning it off at night. I turn it off last thing before bed, and turn it on first thing in the AM. Sometimes, if I know I'm gonna be afk for several hours, I'll turn it off, but then I'm paying the power bill, so...
