From what I would understand, using one encryption over another would not affect performance... The encryption is an algorithm which takes any amount of characters and encrypts them then sends the packet to your router to make sure you are using the correct password.
And I am pretty sure that none of them are over O(nlog(n))... One might have a better algorithm, but that is overlooked (can't think of the right word to use).

oh and thammuz, I was looking at that sample source code you gave me back at the beginning, and now that I at least know about half of wtf Im doing(more or less) I noticed one of the functions you used was declared as bool, which Ive never heard of =\ so..what exactly is a bool?

bool stands for BOOLEAN.

A boolean is either TRUE (=1) or FALSE (=0). When you make conditional statements, you are essentially creating a boolean expression. For instance, each time the program executes if(something == somethingElse) it will assert either if(1) [if(TRUE)] or if(0) [if(FALSE)] then based on the condition it will continue.


Just to make it even clearer:

bool test = true;

while(test) ; 	//Creats an infinite loop.
		//while(test) would be the same as while(1)

I did my best to comment everything to make it easier to understand... Even though I woul dhope most of it would be unnecessary. ;p

Simple way to explain it TRUE and FALSE are both reserved words that have #define's as 1 and 0, respectively.

I know what you mean, I am definitely the same way... I think most people would be that way, too.

I used Bloodshed, too... Since I was learning on Visual Studio, I couldn't get use to Bloodshed. I have found, that there is some syntax that is different between the two.

For instance you need the system pause at the end of your program or else your console window will disappear and you don't get the "Press any key to continue..." but in Visual Studio you don't have to do that. Something that always bugged me, but I don't know how much they've changed it since four years ago.
