I think you need a codec pack, maybe this one? Download K-Lite Codec Pack 5.00 (Full) - FileHippo.com
Oh and for playing dvd on pc i recommend using powerdvd, its awesome

I've used (well, my computer came with) PowerDVD. I never used it, I just use either WMP or MPC. But, once you have a codec installed (CCCP might come with one, if you don't already have it) you can use any play.

Nero also has one, I believe.

You only need either a program like PowerDVD or just the codec pack.

Or you can use Dvix, when you download it it asks if you want the Codec pack with it.

And maybe you need codec for anime subs in windows media player too? If so...Get : ffdshow video decoder and audio decoder...And Haali Media Splitter. Those are the ones I use for anime, downloaded anime that is.

And to your topic, what everyone else said :P

CCCP is the best there is. Better than K-lite.
Combined Community Codec Pack
It also comes with 2 of the best media players.
