I've been using Hotmail for nearly two-and-a-half years now but have only recently encountered this problem. Sometimes, when I go to check my email, when I click on Inbox or any of my other folders Internet Explorer will just shut down. I don't have IE8, since the bugs aren't completely worked out yet. I've never heard of something like this happening. Any ideas?

download firefox or opera better browsers in my opinion anyways

yep

but if you insist on using IE try to dump your cache, cookies and start disabling activeX one by one to find out which one causing issues
