Well to be in honest defense of Vista, I had it on my system for over 1 1/2 yrs and though it had it's faults I had no problem using it, actually I'd say I greatly enjoyed it; once I got to Vista I never once looked back at XP.

That being said, I have also upgraded from Vista to Win7 and must say it is a even better improvement over Vista. I do love that it takes less resources loads my laptop faster and shuts it down faster. So I'm equally just as pleased to transition over to Win7 as I did for Vista; the improvements were really worth. I gotta hand MS their props on this one for actually listening to the public and delivering a pretty damn solid OS.

Back to Vista (legal)

Go with Windows 7. Pretty sure if you want to play the newer games you need DX11

uhmm dx 11 only works with video card with dx 11 support and new games today can be play on dx 9 or 10 >.<

but still i go for win 7 coz of new features for a while i use win xp

This computer im using now is xp its okay just slow even with 1 full gig of ram but its loaded down for my old gaming needs

My brand new computer crapped out on me and forced to reformat so chose to upgrade to win7 instead and i'm never going back to vista. It is probably the worst thing ive seen from Microsoft in over 10 years.
