Avast?!? Need some help please

Hey i just bought Avast Internet Security and installed it on my computer, but im having problems with the license bit.

I downloaded the license, it showed up as a .dat file so i changed it to .avastlic so that the Avast symbol shows up but it doesnt recognize the file.

I checked through the support available on the Avast website, but its no help. It just shows me ways to download it. It also said to right click "save as" when i downloaded the file and through that change it to .avastlic but i dont even get the avastlic file type .

What do i do? Its a 1 year subscription and i already paid for it >.< (was cheap)

I cant seem to add attachments, so this is what the error box is saying:

c:\Users\Rupks\Desktop\License.avastlic
is not a valid avast! license file.

maybe because it was cheap that it doesnt work well...but still contact avast

oh hey you can close this thread! Problem solved.

I emailed the Avast Support team. Took 3 days but problem solved, they sent me a email with a valid license.
